Membership Information
DUE TO THE ECONOMIC CLIMATE AND OUR NEED TO KEEP OUR EMPLOYEES WORKING, WE ARE NO LONGER SELLING OR RENEWING ANNUAL MEMBERSHIPS.
NOTE: Customer registration is not the same as purchasing a membership. Customer registration is free and is available for the convenience of our customers, but does not affect the prices you pay for products. Purchasing a membership entitles our customers to buy products at the member prices.
Due to the rising cost of supplements and the burden it places on our customers, Gaines Nutrition now offers annual memberships to save our customers even more money on their orders! We now have two separate websites:
- Our original, non-member website (20% discount on non-professional products, 40% discount on Source Naturals products). The non-member website is located at http://www.gaines.com
- Our new, members-only website, which also shows the discount percentage that is applied to the product. The member prices are close to or even below the manufacturer’s wholesale price. (Discounts up to 50% on professional and non-professional products, including the Password-Required product brands.) The members-only website requires log-in information which is provided when your purchase a membership. The members-only website is located at http://www.gaines.com/MembersOnly
For our members, we have reduced our profit to the absolute minimum possible...only 5-10%, which is used to pay our costs of processing and filling orders. Our members basically pay buyer's-club prices for their products from us (buyer's clubs like Costco and Sam's generally add an 11-15% markup to the products they carry for their members).
The membership fee is $75 per year (which averages to $6.25 per month) and automatically renews on the anniversary of buying the initial membership. The membership fee easily pays for itself, since we have reduced the prices for members to the lowest prices we've found anywhere on the internet!
Concerned about the automatic renewal? Not a problem. Just use the "Ordering Instructions" section at the bottom of the Shopping Cart page to let us know that you don't want your membership to automatically be renewed. When your membership nears the renewal date, we will contact you by email to see if you want the membership renewed. If you do not want the renewal, your current membership will expire and you will not be billed for a new annual membership.
Membership discounts also apply to the Password-Required product brands.
MEMBERSHIP IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR COMMERCIAL AND/OR BUSINESS ORDERS, NOR FOR THOSE ORDERING PRODUCTS FOR RESALE.
Regular shipping fees will be applied to membership orders. Because we have slashed our profit to the absolute minimum, members will pay actual shipping costs if they exceed the standard shipping fees that are applied to each order. If the shipping cost is $5 or more higher than the standard shipping fee applied at the time of the online order, the member will be notified by email and have the opportunity to approve or decline the higher shipping fee before the order is finalized for shipment.
So ... how much money can you save? The average members only discount is 40.19%!!! Here’s a sample of the savings possible:
