Manufacturer's Product Details/Ingredients

Ingredients: Psyllium seed husks, calcium carbonate, FOS probiotic growth complex (fructo-oligosaccharides), magnesium oxide, acacia gum, barley bran, oat bran, fruit pectin, selenium amino acid chelate.

Swell Volume: For formulas with psyllium husks, the USP requires a minimum of 31.4 ml/g swell volume, a measure of how absorbent the fiber is. Colon Care Caps far exceed the standard with a normal swell volume of 50 to 60 ml/g, which means that it is absorbing 50 to 60 times its weight in liquid and waste materials as it passes through the digestive system.

Nutrition information per 4 cap serving:

  • Fiber 2 grams (approx. 1.6 grams soluble and 0.4 grams insoluble)
  • Calories 1
  • Potassium 22 mg
  • Calcium 22mg
  • Sodium free (Less than 5 mg)

Suggested Use: Adults take 4 capsules, one to three times a day. See Directions.

Directions: Start by taking 1 serving each day. Gradually increase to 3 servings per day as needed. Swallow one capsule at a time. Take each serving with at leat 8 ounces (a full glass) of water or other fluid. Drinking additional liquid is helpful. If minor gas or bloating occurs, reduce the amount you take until your system adjusts.

Caution: Do not take capsules if you have difficulty in swallowing. A very small percentage of individuals, particularly health care providers who have been occupationally exposed to psyllium dust, may develop a sensitivity to psyllium. This sensitivity may result in an allergic reaction. If you experience a strong reaction, with difficulty in swallowing or breathing after taking this product, seek immediate medical attention. Keep out of the reach of children.
